Saint Nicolaos' church at Tsaritsani

Saint Nicolaos’ recently restored church that is located in the quarter of “Bouboutsia” consists of the nave and two chapels: The Saint Apostle's chapel and Saint George's chapel.

It is a 16th century stone church with a tiled roof and rare religious paintings (“The notion of time”, “The zodiac”, “Iesse’s roots” that is a huge and impressive piece of work of 5.50 m long. It represents 90 figures including the twelve wise men of the antiquity).
